Ultrasound guided injections are charged as a single cost for the consultation, diagnostic ultrasound scan (including report and images), needle intervention itself and medication charges for local anaesthetic and corticosteroid. 

The majority of ultrasound guided injections performed will use corticosteroid and local anaesthetic. Additional charges for Hyaluronic Acid injections are noted below.

Ostenil Mini is a 1ml syringe used specifically for small joints and tendons of the hands and feet.

Arthrosamid is an injectable treatment for knee osteoarthritis that uses a non-biodegradable hydrogel called polyacrylamide. 

It is injected into the knee joint to cushion and lubricate it, aiming to reduce pain and improve mobility.
